The Plant
Pearl weed (Micranthemum micranthemoides), also called pearl grass, is a green foreground plant from Central and North America. It likes stable water. With good light and fertilizer it spreads quickly across the front of the tank. You get one pot.

Planting Tips
Plant it in the foreground of a tank of 10 gallons or more. CO2 is not required but helps. Trim it regularly to keep the carpet neat.
Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
It makes great shelter for shrimp and small bottom feeders, and a dense patch gives shrimplets somewhere to hide while the adults graze the leaves.
