Our Story
We started out breeding reptiles. When we wanted our own cleanup crews, we moved into isopods. Then we found shrimp, and they were far more beautiful than anything we'd kept before.
We're the kind of people who need the best or not at all. That's why we breed OE and YE Neocaridina. It's also why we have so many behind-the-scenes projects with new variants no one has seen yet.
A normal week in the Shrimp Room
Plenty of culling, plenty of cleaning, brainstorming new features for mossandmolt.com, and probably way too much time spent on Sheldon.
Before your shrimp arrive
- Have a cycled, stable tank ready before you order.
- Open the box as soon as it arrives. If anything arrived dead, follow our Live Arrival Guarantee claim steps within its claim window.
- Drip-acclimate slowly. Never dump them straight in.
- Hiding or skipping food for the first day or two is normal.
