The Line
Terracotta Blue started in our own tanks. A handful of our Orange Eye Blues, descended from Michael Häsler's Orange Eye Blue Demon line in Germany via RareShrimp.com, showed patches of warm terracotta brick color on the head over a dark blue-black body. You can't buy this one anywhere else. We pulled those shrimp out to see if the trait can be fixed into its own line.
Where It Stands
We're isolating the trait now and testing whether it breeds true. If it does, the goal is a full-coverage, opaque blue-black body with clean terracotta head markings and orange eyes. If it doesn't hold, this line won't be released.
When It Releases
Expect the same packing, shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee as our current Neocaridina listings. Ours runs at: temperature 74–76°F · pH 7.1–7.4 · GH 7–8 · KH 2–4 · TDS 190–220.
