OE Cream sickle
Neocaridina davidi
Coming Soon — In Our Breeding Program
Not available yet. This line won't be listed for sale until it's producing consistently to our standard. There's no release date. We'd rather list it late than sell shrimp that don't match the description.
The Line
OE Creamsickle is our project to bring the orange eye into a cream-bodied line: a soft, opaque, creamy body with warm orange accents, finished with bright orange eyes, like the frozen treat it's named after.
Why It Takes Time
The orange eye is recessive, so the first generation of a cross shows normal dark eyes. Getting the orange eye onto a clean cream body takes several generations of selective breeding and culling out the donor line's color.
When It Releases
Expect the same packing, shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee as our current Neocaridina listings. Ours runs at: temperature 74–76°F · pH 7.1–7.4 · GH 7–8 · KH 2–4 · TDS 190–220.
