The Fish
The tail-spot pygmy cory: a tiny cory with a black spot on the tail that hovers in midwater. Grows to about 1 inch. Photos show a typical fish, not the exact one you will get.
Origin
Rivers of the Amazon and Paraguay basins.
Care Basics
About 72 to 79°F and pH 6.0 to 7.5. A 10-gallon or larger with soft sand. Eats sinking pellets, wafers and frozen or live foods.
Tank Mates
Very peaceful; keep 8 or more. Best with other tiny, calm fish. A great shrimp tank mate: leaves adult shrimp alone, may eat the odd shrimplet.
