$6.99
Semi-aquatic: grows well under water in cooler tanks, but tends to fade over time in warm tropical water.

The Plant
Golden Creeping Jenny is the gold form of Lysimachia nummularia. Grown under water, each stem carries pairs of small, rounded leaves in a soft green to gold shade. It is a true aquatic that also does well in ponds, and it copes with a wide range of water conditions, which makes it an easy first stem plant.

Plant Care
Type: Stem plant · Origin: Asia · Height: Up to 12 in · Light: Moderate · CO2: Not required · Temp: 73-82°F · pH: 6.0-7.6

Planting Tips
Plant it toward the back of a tank of 10 gallons or more. To fill in a gap, snip a stem and push the cutting into the substrate, where it will root.

Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
Shrimp graze the biofilm that builds up on the leaves, and a dense patch gives shrimplets cover. It also pulls nitrate out of the water as it grows.
