Comes attached and ready to place. Low light, no CO2, and very slow growth; keep algae off the leaves.

The Plant
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Petite' is the tiniest anubias you can get: round green leaves about an inch across on a plant that stays under 3 inches tall. This one arrives already attached to a piece of natural driftwood, so it is ready to place. It grows slowly and is very easy.

Plant Care
Type: Rhizome, mounted · Origin: Africa · Growth: Slow · Height: up to 3 in. · Light: Low to moderate · CO2: Not required · Temp: 75–82°F · pH: 6.8–7.8

Planting Tips
Set the piece in the foreground or midground of a tank of 10 gallons or more. Nothing needs to be buried. If it outgrows the wood, cut the rhizome and attach the extra piece to another rock or branch.

Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
It suits nano shrimp tanks, and both the wood and the leaves grow biofilm for shrimp to graze. Shrimplets tuck in among the tight leaves, and slow growth means the piece keeps its shape for months without trimming.
