Choose a Pack:
Needs warm water (76-84 F), pH 7.5 or higher and regular sinking food. Breeds very slowly and can go hungry in a very clean tank.

The Snail
Yellow Poso rabbit snails are among the most vivid of the group, with a strong yellow body under a long brown and white spiral shell that can reach 4.5 inches. Like their relatives they have a droopy, elephant-like face. They come from freshwater lakes in Indonesia and are wild-collected, so a shell may show some wear.

Care
Temp: 77–84°F · pH: 7.6–8.4 · GH: 6–8 · KH: 4–8 · Size: Up to 4.5 inches · Tank: 20 gallons or more · Lifespan: Up to 3 years

Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
A good match for a planted shrimp tank: it moves slowly over substrate and hardscape eating algae, leftover food and dead leaves, and leaves healthy plants and shrimp alone. It stays active after lights out, so it keeps tidying overnight. Numbers stay steady, since it will not overpopulate. Keep copper out of the tank.

Tank Mates
Good with: shrimp and other snails that like the same warm, hard water, plus peaceful community fish. They suit a Neocaridina tank kept on the warm side. Avoid: loaches, puffers, crayfish, crabs and large cichlids, and tanks kept cool.
