10 Ivory Mystery Snails (Pomacea bridgesii)

The Snail
This pack brings 10 ivory mystery snails (Pomacea bridgesii), a South American apple snail with a round, creamy shell. They are calm, active around the clock and gentle on plants, and they are farm raised. If kept with other mystery snail colors, they can interbreed and produce mixed-color babies.

Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
They graze algae and biofilm and clean up leftover wafers, pellets and dead leaves, so less waste rots in the tank. Egg clutches are laid above the waterline, easy to remove if you don't want babies. Add cuttlebone in soft water for shell strength, and keep copper out of the tank.

Tank Mates
Good with: shrimp, other snails and calm community fish such as small tetras, rasboras, corydoras and otocinclus. Avoid: loaches, puffers, crayfish, crabs and large cichlids, which eat snails, and fin nippers like tiger barbs that pick at their feelers. Assassin snails may go after small mystery snails.
