About
Seachem Flourish Excel is a liquid you dose into the tank water to help hold back algae, especially hair algae and staghorn algae. As it breaks down it gives off a small amount of CO2, which plants can use.
Specs
Sizes: 100 mL or 250 mL
Using It
It works in tanks with or without CO2 injection, but it does not replace an injected CO2 system. It uses a starting dose and then a regular maintenance dose, so follow the label closely. Shrimp keepers: start below the label dose and watch your shrimp, as some keepers report sensitivity.
