Easy in medium light with root tabs. Spreads by runners into a fine, low lawn.

The Plant
Sagittaria subulata 'Needle Leaf', most likely a variety of dwarf sagittaria, though its exact identity isn't confirmed. Its slender leaves grow 15 to 30 cm long and only a few mm wide, in a compact, upright clump. They stay green and can pick up a hint of orange under strong light. It suits the background, where it gives a soft, natural look.

Comes as a Tropica tissue culture cup: grown in lab gel, so it arrives free of snails, algae, pests and pesticides. Rinse off the gel and split it into small portions to plant.
