The Plant
Hellfire grows glossy, waxy dark green leaves with red highlights. It's a slow-growing Buce from Borneo that tops out around 3 inches and is easy to keep in low-tech tanks.

Planting Tips
Attach it to wood or rock and keep the rhizome above the substrate. Once it spreads, cut the rhizome and mount the new pieces elsewhere.
Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
Waxy leaves stand up to grazing, and slow growth means little upkeep near your colony. Shrimp work the leaf surfaces for biofilm, and the plant takes up nitrate as it grows.
