The Plant
Green Skeleton has glossy, veined leaves with wavy edges, and some leaves show purple-green variegation. It can flower underwater. AquaticMotiv lists it as easy care with a maximum size of 8 inches.
Plant Care
Type: Rhizome plant · Origin: Borneo, Indonesia · Height: up to 8 in · Light: Low to moderate · CO2: Not required · Temp: 75-82°F · pH: 6.8-7.8
Planting Tips
Mount it on stone or wood toward the front or middle and leave the rhizome bare. Give it some room, since it can outgrow the smaller Buce. Cut the rhizome to start new plants.
Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
The veined leaves give shrimp plenty of surface to graze. A larger clump also makes good cover for freshly molted shrimp and newborns.
