The Plant
Dwarf baby tears (Hemianthus callitrichoides) is a green carpet plant from Central America with tiny leaves. It is a medium-care plant: it needs stable water and injected CO2. With strong light and fertilizer it spreads quickly across the front of the tank, and the leaves often pearl. You get 3 pots.

Planting Tips
Plant it across the foreground of a tank of 10 gallons or more. Keep the water stable and run CO2, strong light and fertilizer; it will not carpet well without them.
Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
It makes great shelter for shrimp and small bottom feeders, and a dense patch gives shrimplets somewhere to hide while the adults graze the leaves.
