Needs warm water (76-84 F), pH 7.5 or higher and regular sinking food. Breeds very slowly and can go hungry in a very clean tank.

The Snail
Rabbit snails (Tylomelania), also called Sulawesi, elephant or giant rabbit snails, come from freshwater lakes in Indonesia and are one of the most sought-after snails in the hobby. This brown poso form has a long brown and white spiral shell that can grow up to 4.5 inches. They are peaceful, active day and night, and live up to 3 years. Pick your pack size when you add to cart. Some shells may show small flaws.

Care
Temp: 77–84°F · pH: 7.6–8.4 · GH: 6–8 · KH: 4–8 · Tank: 20 gallons or more

Why Shrimp Keepers Like It
They eat algae, invertebrate pellets, flake food, zucchini and dead plant matter, so less leftover food sits in the tank. They are safe with plants and shrimp and won't overpopulate. They want warm, hard water. Never use copper.

Tank Mates
Good with: shrimp, other snails and peaceful fish that like the same warm, hard water. Avoid: assassin snails, which hunt other snails, and fish big enough to eat them.
