The ridged back and tail give moss plenty to cling to, and the legs leave a sheltered space underneath. Handmade to order by BonsaiHandcraft from natural driftwood chosen to last underwater, so no two pieces are exactly alike and sizes can run 1 to 2 inches off the listed numbers.

Made For

A fun, bold centerpiece for a kid's tank or a showpiece scape

Moss along the spine with a green carpet underfoot, like a prehistoric jungle

Sizes

8L x 4H in

12L x 6H in

16L x 8H in

20L x 10H in

24L x 12H in

Measured by hand; expect up to 1 to 2 inches either way on the larger pieces.

Using It

Rinse it well, then soak it before it goes in; new driftwood can float at first and tint the water tea-brown with tannins for a few weeks (harmless to shrimp; water changes and carbon clear it faster)

Moss, Bucephalandra and Anubias attach to the wood with thread or plant-safe glue; keep their roots and rhizomes out of the substrate

Pick a size that leaves a few inches of open water on every side, so shrimp and fish can swim around and under it

Want a different size or a custom version?
